Best, tastiest, and (most importantly) most creative food in Ann Arbor, hands down. A terrific alternative to the Main Street Ventures establishments when you're looking for a nice meal for a special occasion. Despite having lived near Baltimore, the preparation of the crabcakes is the best I've ever had. The sablefish is worth a special trip, and my friends who like chocolate love the warm chocolate cake. Lunches are reasonable if you have time to go and sit a few minutes; dinner is well worth your time and money. The atmosphere, redone after the diner-feel of the old Kana, is tasteful and beautiful, helping you feel that it's a special evening, much like its neighbors the West End Grill and Bella Ciao.

Oh man! Pacific Rim's soup which is made with coconut milk and chunks of sweet potato with kaffir lime leaves is to die for! Go for the bowl...you won't regret it! Their ginger tea also warms the soul.
