Los Tres Amigos, now this is my favorite restaurant currently. I have't had food more authentic to Mexico since I lived in California. Their white cheese sauce is amazingly smooth and perfectly complements the spices in several of their dishes. They also have a chicken-potato soup that is hearty but not heavy. Oh, and did I mention that the price is very reasonable. I also can't wait until they get their liquor license- any day now. But, if you want some more opinions...

To AB- who do you consider to serve the most authentic mexican in the area? I would like to try it.
Thanks.

I agree! I've had better mexican food and I've had worse. This tends to be on the "adequate" side. Not mind blowing. But not poison either.

This is really a "your mileage may vary" situation. I definitely wouldn't call Los Tres Amigos the best authentic Mexican in town. We've been disappointed both times we ate there, with both the food and the service. (And one of us lived in Mexico, so we're not without experience with authentic Mexican cuisine.)
